CAT-WAVE Waveform analysis Software

Rions CAT-WAVE software allows downloading measured data (WAVE file) to a PC for data analysis. It handles FFT analysis, Octave band analysis and spectrum map analysis. In addition to cross spectrum and transfer function are displayed.
Note* CAT-WAVE can also analyse data from the SA-78 (2ch FFT analyser)

Waveform Analysis

Supported sources for waveform data: Wave format data created with DA-20/40, SA-78WR, NX-28WR
Display functions: Scaled time axis, differential and integral time calculus avaliable
File output: WAVE format (selective channel or section save), CSV format (section save)

FFT Analysis

Analysis frequencies: According to data recorder DA-20/40 settings
Number of analysis points: 64 to 32, 768
Averaging functions: Linear averaging, maximum hold
Time window types: Hanning, rectangular, flat-top, exponential, force
Display functions: Power spectrum, cross spectrum, transfer function, coherence
power spectrum map, octave map, differential and calculus for spectrum map

Octave band analysis

Standard compliance: JIS C 1514 (IEC 61260) Class 1
Analysis types: 1/1 octave band, 1/3 octave band, 1/12 octave band
Analysis frequency ranges:

  • Octave band: 0.5Hz to 8kHz (15 bands)
  • 1/3 Octave band: 0.4Hz to 10kHz (45 bands)
  • 1/12 Octave band: 0.36Hz to 11kHz (180 bands)

Time weighting (time constants): 1ms, 10ms, 35ms, Fast, 630ms, Slow, 10s
Frequency weighting: Flat, A, C

DA-20PA1 Waveform Processing Software

Rions DA-20PA1 software allows uploading of WAVE format data recorded with the 4ch Data Recorder DA-20, to a computer for display and analysis. Waveforms can be shown either in overall or detail view. FFT analysis and Octave band analysis are also available. The application is suitable for environmental measurements.

Supported sources for waveform data: Wave format data created with DA-20/40, SA-78WR, NX-28WR
Display functions: Scaled time axis, RMS, timer percentile sound level, equivalent continuous sound pressure level, sound exposure level
Filter processing: high-pass filter, low-pass filter with selectable parameters, sound playback after filtering
File output: WAVE format, CSV format (selective channel or section save)

Analysis frequencies: According to data recorder DA-20 settings
Number of analysis points: 64 to 32, 768
Averaging functions: Linear averaging

NL-22PB1 Management software
(To suit NL-21/31/22/32)

The NL-22PB1 management software is designed to further enhance the popular NL-series of sound level meter (excluding NL-20). The NL-22PB1 allows for real sound playback functionality (NL-32/22 only) as well as daily and weekly reporting on recorded data

Live Sound Reporting

When using the real sound monitor card NX-22J, recorded live sound can be played back. Data erase and recalculation are also possible.

Daily Report Display

By reading in auto store data from a memory card, processing functions such as measurement data display, editing, creation of daily and weekly reports, text file export and printing become possible.
